     Casady played a double dip against rivals up the road.  Game 1 @ Casady & the night cap @ Charger Field.  Game 1 had the Cyclones down 2-0 in the top of the first and Casady responded with SIXTEEN first inning runs with 3 Dingers (Bryce "Boomer"  Baumann, Jacob "Rocket"  Robertson, & Brandon "How can Coach Keep me on the Bench" Smith).  It did'nt stop there as the Cyclones plated 14 runs in the 4 th inning after having a dismal showing of only scoring one run each in the 2nd & 3rd innings.  Bryce Baumann picked up the victory with a nice performance!

Game Two, was another story.  Cyclones jumped ahead 4-0 led by a two run dinger by Matt "McGuire" Thompson, but, there were no more bullets in the Cyclone gun as they succumbed to the Chargers 12-4.

                                        
 

Nothing Gets Through Award (Defensive Gems):

*  Jay Gallegly leaped to snagged a Charger line drive.

*  Bart Shelley caught a laser line drive at short stop.

*  Ted "Howitzer" Holmes threw out a runner trying to steal second base.

*  Around the Horn DP:  Baumann to Gallegly to Thompson.

*  Chris Ford to Matt Thompson to Teddy Holmes threw out a runner from the outfield trying to score.

 

Moon Pie Mania (Something Special):

*  Matt Thompson had two ouchies in game one.

*  Michael "Blazing" Birch had 4 Stolen Bases in the DH.

*  Bart "Bingle" Shelley layed down a beaut.

* Jay "Bunting Clinic" Gallegly layed down another beaut.
